xmas` jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle all e way~
xmas eve gt 1/2 day. 1230 knock off liao. but no plan. decided to stay @ hm n take a rest. hasnt been hm this few wks.
xmas decided to stay @ hm too.. but fren say wan go out.. dinner nt i pay.. y nt? since im aready @ church.. itx on the way^^
everytime when frenx say wanna meet.. my que will b where u all wanna meet? i find it so usual 4 every1 to say "town". personally i dun like to go town unless i wan do some shopping. watx the point of goin town to squeeze with ppl when all u wan is to eat? gd food arent usually found in town anyway. so i suggested a quiet but close to town n my hm place^^, novena.
used to b @ novena alot during sec dayx.. since my sch was there when bishan site was under PRIME. last time therex only novena square. united square was under renovation when we were there @ e beginning. but nw therex square 2 + extention 4 novena square.
itx owayx nt advisable to head down town 4 dinner unless u happen to b there. cox therex owayx this thing call "q". so novena is a gd place 4 any1 hu like it quiet^^ therex actually quite alot of place to dine in @ novena. we choose the jpnese curry restaurant @ velocity. the sofa seats look comfortable^^ + the ambience lookx gd.
the comfortable sofa seats. therex only 3 4seaters n 1 2seaters sofa seats.. so if u wanna enjoy nd go down earlier 4 dinner.

well, the food isnt "wow" but itx considered nt bad. the miso soup isnt the usual too salty type, cater more 4 sporean. therex 2 types of curry, spicy or normal. although i love spicy food, decided to get normal instead cox i wasnt suppose to eat fried + spicy food in the 1st place =P i tink they used jpnese rice? those tt r slightly sticky. the beef is gd.. i tink therex quite alot of rubbish beef meat ard nowadayx, rubber beef.. so my expectation 4 beef is jus "alright will do". but i still love the beef frm Din Tai Fung^^ i tot tt the curry can b served hot (as in temperature), it will definitely taste better.
the macha milkshake is pretty sweet 4 me. some1 have to remind me to stop ordering milkshake. i found out tt no matter where the milkshake is frm, it will all b 2 sweet 4 me. so pls remind me if u r out with me 4 a meal.
the food in my view, isnt as gd 4 the price tt we r paying. but since i did nt pay, letx jus 4gt bout it^^ we r paying a higher price 4 e curry rice mainly cox of the ambience. if u dun mind paying, it is a nice + quiet place to dine-in.
since we r toking bout jpnese curry rice nw.. let me jus share somemore yummy jpnese food i tried b4..
whenever im in orchard n wanna try some small bites, i like to go taka b2 n take a look. i saw the bakery there selling~
ALL U OTAKUX OUT THERE, WAT IS THIS? lol.. this is konata's fav food, coronet. it lookx normal, it tastex normal.. but otaku lovex to try wat their fav anime lovex.. so i gt myself ths eventhough i noe itx jus a normal bread with cream ttx shaped like a shit =X

hokkaido ice-cream!!~
ths is a punishment 4 sgt whox late. green tea with red bean ice-cream.. nice^^ i love to try jpnese flavors frm them. i mean y would u wanna get the usual chocolate or strawberry frm hokkaido ice-cream, right? next time im gonna try banana choco. who wanna b late^^?
