ytd kpop night was full of heads frm my sitting area. i was aready standing on the chair, but only gt to c heads of those in-front of me. ^#@#!)$@&.

itx a concert whereby i cant even c the artist, n the sound system was a failure. moreover, the distance frm the stage was so far, y cant they place another 2 screen somewhere in e middle?

however, e concert was still rather enjoyable with all e bands i love~

1st to perform was ft. island, well, cox they nd their instruments on stage.

following them is the boss, ze:a, lastly, infinite. well, i dun really listen 2 songx frm these 3 bands, so...

up next was shinee, n this is the point where every1 start standing up n i have no choice but to stand on my chair. tot i still din get to c shinee @ all -.-||| they perform 4 of their main songs in their diff albums, Nonna, ring ding dong, Lucifer n hello.

following them was snsd n i was amazed with their fan base. of cox, it consists of quite alot of guyx, but what amaze me most was they r the most organised fans in the whole concert. with their tee, light stick n fan chant. i din really see much of their part due to the no. of heads b4 me, so... but jessica's n tiffany's eng r amazing =D

lastly was big bang! yaya, e reason i went. they perform a total of 7 songs, more than wat e other grps had performed (4 songs each) n i was =DDD.

overall, it was an enjoyable concert, e bands were real great! itx just e organiser's budget on e concert venue itself, the limited stage, screen n bad sound system. it makes me wonder did they spent too much to invite e artists in... i hope e next kpop night can b in indoor stadium. its really much better over there... (n if u r wondering y i din bother adding any youtube video 4 snsd n shinee's performances, well, i din get to c their part @ all, so itx kinda difficult 4 me to comment on anything...)

i tink my life had gone crazy ever since i started sch.. 3 wks ago i have 2 assignment due. 2 wks ago i have 3 project due!!!! n finally last wk i had a short break =D

i have been under a program which allows me to get $$ just by visiting some shops n restaurant. tt wk, i manage to get a few gd ones, like taste paradise @ ion lvl 4. with $50 to spend 4 free + my parents having their off day, i called my small family with my bro's gf for dim sum last sun=DDD

the interior is really cool with a mixture of modern + traditional, but i feel weird taking pic ard the restaurant tot u can find pic online. whereas i took a pic of the utensils as they look very detailed n "royal china".

i tink i gt too hook up with the food to only bothered about eating n din take any pic. but i guess u can google 4 them. was excited to taste their well-known custard bun but we book our slot too late n only manage to get a 3pm slot, therefore most of the good stuffx r gone =( anyway we still managed to get some well-known ones such as Baked BBQ Pork Pastry, Deep-fried Prawn with Mango Roll n XO Carrot Cake =DD

total bill was nearly $80 which is still reasonable for 5 person. (anyway, ttx cox we only ate dim sum)

n watx more, i manage to get my kpop night tic on e same day =D big bang's coming!!!

GSS best buy. durian cake from "emicake" @ $10 off. i wouldnt say its the best i had tried, but with it being only at $20+, i think its good enuff.

from "the hand burger" in 313. they have $8.80 special for wkdays lunch set. comes with lemon tea + 1 side + 1 main with ard 3 choices. went there twice, n i must say, this is really good + filling. its quality + quantity. the service is well for an eat-n-go environment. simple restaurant design tt fits the current interior tread for modern design. 1 is opening at raffles city. those who had yet to try shld go 4 it =D

Boku no hatsukoi wo kimi ni is a story about Takuma (main chara), who falls in love with Mayu, the daughter of his doctor. he has a heart disease n was "informed" at the age of 12 tt he is unable to live beyond 20 yrs old. knowing tt he is unable to provide a happy ending for Mayu, he tried to distance from her, but was unable to keep the distance. so... lol, do u think i will tell u the ending?

well, i watched the movie 1st then head to the manga. which is wat i hardly do. i tend to read first, then watch.

surprisingly, even after im done with the manga, i din regret having watched the movie.

yes, i hope most of u agree with me, esp when we read the story/ manga b4 the movie, we tend to think tt the movie din manage to bring out the essence? of the story. 4 example: koizora n a walk to remember.

well, how do i say this, boku no hatsukoi managed to shorten the story while maintaining the whole flow of it. tot clearly, it might be lacking of some emotion n story development, which is understandable since the movie is within 2hrs. the main "issues" which follow in the manga managed to surface in the movie, tot done more straight forwardly. sometimes its not how much u managed to squeeze into the movie, its about the content u placed in it =P

e movie is rather slow-pace, which works great with the overall story. n yes, they have diff endings too. n i tink both managed to end it well =D

btw, super junior's mv is gonna release in a few hrs time =X

well, therex not much difference with s'pore n KL... in my point of view. but since my main purpose there was for super show 2 anyway... =D

people, passport must b @ least 6 mths to board ur plane, thanks to those who told me it was alright. in the end we spent the whole sat morning in s'pore to settle my visa since it isn't 6mths. well done.

finally we board the plane @ 2pm. our actual plan was 7.30am flight -.-||| to hotel once we reached since it's aready late. we stayed in palace of the golden horses, n i tink most of u shld know how amazing this hotel is? it's a 6 star hotel.. truly beautiful.

i head off to my main purpose being here, super junior concert immediately! LOL, n the crowd was like OMG! the power of fangalx. LOL.

the concert is really the best i had ever been to so far (it's nt a fangal thing, it's really the best!). n i thank my fren 4 helping me to get eunhyuk's tee =DDD

they start off the concert @ 8pm, when the ticket says 7pm -.-||| ard e VIP n RM400+ seats, we c security forming in lines, n we were like "what!? they r coming frm the different entrance away frm the stage?" OMG, those fangal who can c them upclose r so lucky. i sure didn't expect them to enter frm the entrance we entered.

im nt going to list out everything, cox i dun tink i rmb everything. wat is left in my memory r prob just the more memorable 1s. i can rmb kyuhyun sang 原谅我, i mux say "his chinese is really gd!". n tt was the time when all the chinese fan sang with him =D.

the concert lasted for 3hrs n i had a great time. it was a worthwhile trip frm s'pore to kl to watch the concert =D.

after e concert was the bad part, we waited till 12+am till we get a cab (when the concert ends at 11pm!) anyway, when we were back at hotel, me n my fren were still talking bout the concert. guess it's too WOW for us. i kinda force my fren to slp cox i still have a long day tmr to tour ard kl..

i didnt expect myself to wake like damn early the following day considering hw tired i was after the concert. i guess is cox i keep reminding myself of the whole concert =P well, im nt the only 1, my fren did too =D

we went 4 some shopping in KLCC (a shopping centre similar with wat u c in s'pore.. even e shops r similar) since we nd to drop my fren, then head to sungei wang to supply my nd of A&W 1st.

LOL. sungei wang is quite similar to our local far east plaza with teenagers' clothings @ affordable price.

as u can c, this is a gd place to get handicraft stuff. tot i wouldnt say it value 4 $, but they r affordable.

n since central market is near jalan petaling, tt became our next stop.

this is a gd place for people who like to hunt for branded imitation products like LV and gucci bag. itx rainy season so i didnt really get to shop ard in jalan petaling since itx nt a totally shuttled area.

n tt marks the end of day2 with us heading back to hotel ard 845pm.. ya, boring day.. but i manage to find some entertainment @ discovery channel when we r back. ahh! m'sia has discovery channel!!!! tot the eps was kinda emo showing all the air crash event which happened ard the world when we will b boarding 1 tmr -.-|||

we head down to red box on the last day. which is m'sia's kbox alike. we planned to go 4 the 1 @ pavilion (speaking bout pavilion, super junior were @ pavilion ytd ard 4-5pm!!! OMG! i was at central market?) but it was reserved so ended up in low yat. anyway, red box is similar to local version other than being extremely valuable with 3hrs of karaoke + set lunch + mini buffet of fruits n soup @ only ard RM14 per person!!

headed to airport straight after but e plane was delayed.. haix. so we ended up wasting alot of time in the airport.

my net finish is: 01:10:47.45. im suprised! faster than expected =D 337th place out of 2091 runners (ladies only). n my average speed is: 8.5km/h. amazing =D

n itx amazing hw many sec sch frenx u can meet in the event itself. since itx compulsory 4 them =X.

anyway, went 4 seoul garden ytd. itx really nt tt amazing.. normal steamboat, jus tt they have desserts 4 us, unlike the common 1s ard. n therez a male wearing girls' clothings modelling outside taka. LOL. (note: i used the word "male" n nt "man" ^^)

well, they say the ang ku kueh @ queenstown area is nice, but i tot it taste normal. more filling which is reasonable 4 the price. but is nothing amazing. the durian 1 smells gd, but my parents ate it, so im nt sure of the taste. anyway, itx only the skin with the durian taste, the filling is the usual bean paste ^^ - $0.60 each

maki's drama.. simple + funny story. bout maki being appointed as the "mum" of this family of 6 guyx ard her age. they did alot of random stuffx since the dad is a random guy too. LOL. n maki real identity is their sis -.-||| i'll say itx gd if u r into drama with cute guyz + funny plot. but to me, it's ordinary.

Ghost Friends
i kinda enjoy ths cox the guy is rather cute. LOL. i dun think i have much to say bout this drama.. itx mainly bout this guy who is a ghost (but with a human body) n a normal gal (who can c ghost) falling in love after knowing eachother, while helping the guy to find his dead gf. but ltr discovered his dead gf do love him deeply. i tink im making it sounds complicated, jus watch if u r easily pleased as long there's cute guy =D

tt lady boss is damn cool. shex an expert, dun belittle her.. itx yet another easily-like plot, police story. dun u think we r easily pleased with stories bout school, sports, police, doctor.. ths story makes her a wonder woman.. she can solve anything. + watx more, shex emo!

itx a variety show whereby guests r supposed to answer some que n if they managed to answer all, they can have a "dream chance". they can ask for anything if they managed to answer the que for "dream chance". but the que gets more n more personal as it progress on n reveal the guest hidden past/ crime. moreover, the guest invited r all related to an incident tt involves satoru n toshio, e host n director of the show. n it was the director who invites them to uncover the truth behind the incident which killed reina, their childhood fren. + his plan was to let satoru rmb the incident n the "crime" he committed since he lost his memory after the incident. *SPOILER* but the "crime" was committed by him, himself. LOL, he has some kind of inter-change memory illness. whereby, he will switch his memory. i kinda enjoyed this. @ least this is 1 of the plot tt i think is really tot of before filming the drama itself.

Majo Saiban
i dun really understand wat this drama wanna show. the main plot is bout this grp of ppl being selected to judge this case whereby a "majo" (witch) is a suspect for murder. so the grp of ppl judging e case r actually blackmailed by this grp of ppl backing up "majo". tot ltr this grp of ppl betray "majo". toma knowing therex a grp of ppl behind the case trying to control the judgement of the case try to solve the case by himself with some help frm ms "white" (4gt to mention tt they call eachother by colour instead of name in the drama). *SPOILER* so toma found out tt "majo" was nt guilty, therefore she was judged as nt guilty in e end. but in fact, she is guilty.. i was like "WAT?" this story makes me emo..

nothing amazing, jus a story bout a guy who kinda inherited great medicial skills frm his dad, an amazing doctor. therefore, eventhough he seems like a clumsy doctor usually, whenever a patient is in danger, he will kinda transform into some1 greatly skillful n cure the patient. to think of it, its kinda funny...

oya, n for new season drama~ i watched buzzer beat.. i LOL-ed. therex 1 part when a grp of basketball player were admiring their own body in the mirror + 1 of them commented on yamapi, "ur breast is bigger than ur gf (who is saki.. she looks so much better here than in Zettai Kareshi)" i LOL-ed. i have to say itx clever 4 the director to show us yamapi's body in e 1st eps... wat other eye-candy can we expect ltr in the drama, director?

bitter choco with orange. gt this somewhere near united square. i quite enjoy it, but it can get abit bitter if ur taking alot.. therex abit of alcohol in it, like most ard nwadayx. i wonder wat ingredients they used to make this, the texture dun feel the same with most found ard.. some melts easily, but ths dun.. it kinda solidify itself. cant find the word to explain, try it urself bah =D

went 4 ndp rehearsal on sat.. somehw ndp feels the same every yr.. the only diff was the location 4 me.. since itx my 1st time @ marina. much much smaller crowd as compared to stadium, therefore can have a gd view of everything.. but the preformances seem to b the same yearly.. tot i mux say the ndp bag is getting better n better yearly, even when i dun use it -.-|||

itx the GSS season so im spending.. i told myself tt i'll get wat i like during sales season n nt get clothes after e sale period (unless i really c something nice =P).

yes, itx quite true we have to save, but getting wat u like nw instead of any other time really save u alot more $.

n some of us love to jus go shopping ard looking 4 things we love. but i owayx regret getting some stuffx ltr cox (1) they dun actually suit me, e saleperson was pushing it too much, or (2) u can get similar stuff somewhere cheaper. i find myself getting easy on my $ when e stuff is still alright, frm my view n the sales person is really nice..

im those who prefer online shopping than retail shopping since retail price r usually higher + some shops really have pushy sales person which i dun like it. i love places where the sales person greet u n jus stand @ 1 corner ready to serve u when u nd help. + watx more, u have more time to think through whether it is really worth the price ur getting online rather than retail..

so i was looking @ my buyx n tot some r nt really worth it except 4 e brand. ah, watever, wat done is done.

so to prevent myself frm spending on e wrong stuffx, i did some search b4 heading out to get wat i wan ths time round. i owayx take a longer time to decide e brand of product to get 4 my face compare to others like shoes, shirts.. ppl with sensitive skin shld noe hw i feel... so as i was google-ing, i found alot of interesting facts...

(1) milk can reduce PMS symptoms.. really?
(2) lemon water gv u a healthy system, slim u down + a glowing complexion.. some western resturant serve lemon water (place a slice of lemon in plain water) n i dun really like e taste of it.. but to think lemon water actually do all these?
(3) omega 3 fish oil for good skin.. i heard alot bout the wonders of fish oil, izzit really tt gd? prob i can try it out..
(4) white rice + bread r bad skin food.. when i saw this, i was like "what!!" i eat them almost daily.. is tt y s'poreans have bad complexion? but korean eat more rice than us, dun they? n their complexion r gd... so it was said tt rice + bread age us? i dunno..
(5) diary products cause us acne. 75-90% of milk comes frm pregnant cows n by drinking it, expose us to e hormones they produced... lucky thing is i dun take in alot of diary products.. but hu noex tt healthy diary products can cause u more pimples?

gokon is basically where a group of single men and ladies get together, hoping to find romantic partnership. y would i go? wat other reasons r there beside the food available? since it's held in shokudo at heeren with a buffet treat =P tot it's not bad to know more people.. but i doubt there will be alot people around my age. and i was right..

anyway, i was thinking about how the event will go before the event itself and tot that the organiser will probably get 2 groups to sit together, probably 2 groups of around the same age.. whereby they can have some chit-chat session.

i have to say it was kinda mess-up @ the registration area? i saw their nametag all messed up. although itx aready bundle up in groups, but all the no. r randomly lying around on the table. itx kinda hard to find your group no. probably they can make it such that 1 person give out group no. 1-10, another 11-20, n so on.. it will definitely be more organized. so gokon, it usually starts with ice-breaker.. i was thinking the ice-breaker didn't really break the ice. if they r really thinking of having a "gokon" session, doesn't ice-breaker set the most important time of the whole event? but i was thinking wat kinda ice-breaker really helps to break the ice? i cant really think of any.. but this, in my point of view might work.

getting the people to show their hidden talent^^ it's alright for small group, but not big group. while all e games r going on, some food r being served. sashimi, sushi, tempura.. great, aren't them? then there's magician around to show u some trick which wouldn't surprise u too much if u r like me, some1 who watch magic show often.. then it was buffet time (which was what i had been waiting for). although there was a restricted menu which we can order from, it's still good for the little amount we paid.

but i didnt take any picture of foodiex this time round.. tot the waffle with ice-cream is real good=D!! i m gonna have it next time i head down to shokudo. the buffet was e time 4 people to get to know eachother.. so u c those guys walking around passing their contact or asking 4 contact. i was kinda surprised there are so many brave people around who are not scared of asking for contact directly. i live in a world where most guys don't do this..

but i tot that the "gokon" wasn't really gokon. since we sat in our own group chatting n eating together with people who we aready know.. isn't gokon getting to know people who u do not know in the 1st place? i think gokon still work better for smaller group.. since it's really about sitting down, chit-chatting, have some simple games n get to know eachother..

im happy to get a coach bag @ a cheap price, tot nt the cheapest. im happy to get to shop during GSS ths time round (usually i dun have $ to shop during ths period of time). n im glad 4 a job tt allows me to travel ard so occasionally i can take a look @ wat i wanna get n it really save my time frm shopping during e wkends with the never-ending crowd.

but internet is such a useful tool nw tt u can get almost anything frm there @ a cheaper rate tt sometimes u think therex no nd to squeeze in the crowd. im 1 of those hu spend more $ online than offline shopping. but isn't tt great? since u can get e same stuff @ a lower price. tot e bad point is u cant try it beforehand + u nd to b patience 4 ur stuffx to arrive.

fri cg was fun. we shld have more of sharing rather than owayx listening to alvin preach. it can train up our understanding of e words^^ bs these few wks were fun too. we get to pray 4 ppl who we do nt know, really seeking God 4 the things to pray 4 e person..

n i have to try to remind myself to look on e bright side of life. sometimes, when things get difficult i tend to think of my more fortunate frenx n compare my situation with them. n i owayx 4gt there r ppl ard with worst situation. i have to sing myself the song "owayx look @ e bright side of life" more often..

we went out 4 lunch since canteen's nt open + i tried ths nasi sambal goreng @ mr tea tarik eating house @ jurong west. well, i owayx love malay food cox they r really yummy.. n this 1 here is yummy + big portion (@ least i tink so) + value-4-$ ^^ usually when im out i tend to get away frm malay food since they r rather ex. but this 1 here costs me only $3.. which is really cheap^^ i love the fried potato^^

ya, u can c hw much i like e new drama call "smile". bout Bito, a guy hu is mixed with filipino n jpnese blood. having a filipino bloodline within, he is often looked down by otherx n being treated as the grp hu owayx cause trouble. so he was used by his collegue 4 a certain crime he didnt commit n was put to jail cox of tt. a touching story i suppose.. i love it^^

The Quiz Show 2 basically bout a variety show tt allows ppl to earn big bucks by answering few questions.. but e questions asked r actually questions related to the crime they committed... kinda alright. i tink it will wow me more if they tell me hw did the director of e variety show managed to find questions related so closely to the crime they had committed when the police cant even do tt.

Godhand Teru bout this boy who has a dad(very talented doctor) who was killed during an airplane crush. so his dad tried to save him during the crush n left a very deep hand mark on his body b4 he passed away. so his dad kinda "transfer" his operational talent to his son. therefore his son was able to perform some difficult operation @ ease. but was it his individual talent? or was it his dad's?

caught in the rain, wat can u do other other than eat or shop ard @ where u r? i was not planning to take lunch but being caught in the rain in sunshine plaza which doesn't have much shop to shop ard. i decided to jus find a food stall n settle down till the rain stop. looking ard, the once nice-to-eat wanton mee there is kinda ex nw n the amt they gv jus get lesser n lesser each time. so i decided to gv up on tt n try other food. i m nt worried bout food when im @ sunshine plaza. they have a whole range of gd food there, frm "victor's kitchen"- dim sum, to e popular pie shop to e wanton mee..

n i found this stall call "sarah's place"~

i ordered the baked fish set n ice milo.. >< their ice milo is sweet!!~ nice^^

the baked fish set costs $4 so i tot itx pretty value-4-$ considering tt itx in town area + it can b considered as western food (western food r ex, dun u think so?) the set is really tasty so i took a pic of it. the rice is nasi lemak, coconut rice^^ yummy. they have potato salad with it, i really like it^^ colslaw + the baked fish. these 2 r nt "wow" but quite alright. but i find the portion of the baked fish tt has cheese over it alittle salty.

anyway, i did enjoyed this meal n wouldnt mind dropping there to have my lunch/dinner if im ard bugis or dobhy ghaut. oya, bugis new shopping mall is up^^ tampines mall is gonna have the new tee outlet coming out, uniqlo, this coming wkend. but y of all place did they choose tampines.. itx so far~

(1) suspect x. well, since i watched Galileo, y nt? another scientific detective, genius vs genius story. i love detective story, so im nt a gd judge.

(2) departures. oscar awarded. a interesting topic tt not alot will touch on. quite a emo 1 for me, but mox of my frenx enjoyed it. gd portraying of emotions.

(3) detroit metal city. LOL movie. death metal is actually tt crazy? the songx r all so emo. i dun recalling seeing those kinda lyric ard. but nice, had a gd laugh^^

anyway, lookx gd so went to try it.. but i wouldnt say the beef noodle is gd. i can get better beef noodle elsewhere @ a cheaper rate. the beef is hard to bite, noodle sticky so i had a hard time eating without the juice coming out. but the sub-dish is nice^^ can ask my mum to try doin tt. n the bubble tea, i miss it!!~ nowadays when u go ard buying "bubble red milk tea", u noticed stalls jus pour their aready done milk tea into the plastic cup n serve u with it. unlike hw it use to b, when they will do on the stop, boil some milk powder then add red tea n start shaking. i miss bubble red milk tea with bubbles >< if i happen to go there again, it mux b bcox of the milk tea.

LOL. 1 gal whox a top scorer + another guy whox owayx being bullied. LOL. But cox of e guy whox owayx asking "y" (eita), instead of jus inspecting on e dead body itself, they went further to investigate e scene, ask ard e dead's frenx + family member, doin things tt r actually nt under them, n gt shoot.. LOL. i tot itx quite interesting cox i had nv watched any drama focusing on forensic b4.

main chara, mei, gt herself enrolled into ths rich gal sch whereby all e galx have a butler after her parents' death, finding out tt her grandfather is a super rich guy. her butler (hiro.. OMG, yandao><) helps her ard in her new sch + her fren (Takeru.. cute guy frm johnny^^, too bad hex younger than me T_T) became a butler too 2 stay near her. but since she was frm a normal environment unlike otherx in e sch, who had been a "princess" since birth, shex being bullied ard in sch. story plot is common but worth watching cox gt yandao^^ i tot the idea of different class being assigned to different types of rm lookx familiar.. ya, gakuen alice does it tt way too.

itx basically bout wine. kame's dad, a well-known wine critic, died but left a collection of valuable wine behind. therefore he n his adopted bro have 2 compete in a challenge to win e collection. so u get to c kame, a guy hu hatex wine bt is gd @ tasting it n his "bro" hu is another great wine critic tasting alot of great wine. e plot is kinda usual but i love dramax on stuffx tt otherx dun really touch on.. stuffx like sportx, detective r so common.. unlike wine, which i might b able to learn some stuffx out of it. but truly speaking, i really cant appreciate wine.

last season's drama had all ended but none really "wow-ed" me.

i love bloody monday with their virus n all the killing =P n with a shock, wat? tt gal is K? i was expecting an out-of-the-world ending.. but it turns up.. kinda bad. the story is gd in my view, jus the ending tt didnt really please me.. ths is the kind of drama tt upset me most cox it has been all gd.. till the last part.

innocent love has been a rather emo story 4 me since e start. i dun like relationship kinda story. it jus bore me..

celeb to binbo taro is predictable. i noe hw the storyx gonna go without chasing the eps. kinda usual plot. i watch it only 4 all the clothings aya wore><

ryusei no kizuna carryx a light-hearted mood till the last few eps. ending was kinda out-of-the-box.. ending was gd.. but i would prefer if they had carry the story with a darker mood rather than a random mood since the beginning. sometimes i find some of the plot unnecessary, to me, some of the plot r there jus to fill up the 11eps.

giragira was surprisingly better than mox of the drama i anticipated ths season. i like it when they jus end the story regardless of the eps when therex no more gd plot. yes, story is kinda predictable but they didnt rush up ending or drag the story. which im happy bout^^ oya, cox therex cute guyx to look @ ^^

scrap teacher was kinda LOL. i mean hw can 3 sec sch students noe so much + b able to do so much. they can even b a pliot o_O. story predictable.

xmas eve gt 1/2 day. 1230 knock off liao. but no plan. decided to stay @ hm n take a rest. hasnt been hm this few wks.

everytime when frenx say wanna meet.. my que will b where u all wanna meet? i find it so usual 4 every1 to say "town". personally i dun like to go town unless i wan do some shopping. watx the point of goin town to squeeze with ppl when all u wan is to eat? gd food arent usually found in town anyway. so i suggested a quiet but close to town n my hm place^^, novena.

used to b @ novena alot during sec dayx.. since my sch was there when bishan site was under PRIME. last time therex only novena square. united square was under renovation when we were there @ e beginning. but nw therex square 2 + extention 4 novena square.

itx owayx nt advisable to head down town 4 dinner unless u happen to b there. cox therex owayx this thing call "q". so novena is a gd place 4 any1 hu like it quiet^^ therex actually quite alot of place to dine in @ novena. we choose the jpnese curry restaurant @ velocity. the sofa seats look comfortable^^ + the ambience lookx gd.

well, the food isnt "wow" but itx considered nt bad. the miso soup isnt the usual too salty type, cater more 4 sporean. therex 2 types of curry, spicy or normal. although i love spicy food, decided to get normal instead cox i wasnt suppose to eat fried + spicy food in the 1st place =P i tink they used jpnese rice? those tt r slightly sticky. the beef is gd.. i tink therex quite alot of rubbish beef meat ard nowadayx, rubber beef.. so my expectation 4 beef is jus "alright will do". but i still love the beef frm Din Tai Fung^^ i tot tt the curry can b served hot (as in temperature), it will definitely taste better.

the macha milkshake is pretty sweet 4 me. some1 have to remind me to stop ordering milkshake. i found out tt no matter where the milkshake is frm, it will all b 2 sweet 4 me. so pls remind me if u r out with me 4 a meal.

the food in my view, isnt as gd 4 the price tt we r paying. but since i did nt pay, letx jus 4gt bout it^^ we r paying a higher price 4 e curry rice mainly cox of the ambience. if u dun mind paying, it is a nice + quiet place to dine-in.

sat is a gd day to spend time outside, considering we r nt working on sun + itx a wkend. but goin town area these few dayx jus meanx ur torturing urself with all the xmas shopping crowd. sometimex i really wonder y r there so many ppl out there doin xmas shopping..

xmas gift xchange is nt 4 me cox i nv get anytink i wan in return, + u have to buy a gift 4 an unknown person (since u dunno hu will receive ur prezzie) wich is, in my point of view, rather stupid. i dun mind receiving prezzie tot=P

but since i was in orchard 4 jpnese lesson, decided to jus walk ard. with an empty wallet + a big crowd, it makex me feel rather zzz. no point shopping.. so went to look 4 frenx working there.

jpnese pizza is owayx thin crisp, like biscuit liddat.. or watever u call tt indian food. well, i dunno wat is a well-done jpnese pizza since itx the 1st time im trying it. the crisp is crispy + thin, topped with tomato + ham. pretty alright, tot nt "wow".

the corn soup is good. very thick in favor, creamy. nt those watery kind. salad was ?? i rather they place it with mayo than sesame oil? itx kinda salty, but still ate it, vege is gd.. in all wayx..

im starting to get pretty bored with pasta in cream sauce. they r too common. itx weird hw u dun get bored with pasta in tomato sauce which is more common, i tink humanx jus cant take in alot of milky/ creamy stuffx. i like basil sauce tot, itx more rare + nt too thick to take in.

i nv try their drinkx.. sometimes, u look @ ur menu n decide. im getting a pasta with cream base, if i get a drink, which r usually milky, i might nt b able to truely enjoy it.

i cant judge if waraku is gd or nt since i had only been there 1s. i dun mind dropping by to try other stuffx if im ard but i wouldnt go all the way there 4 food. unlike Din Tai Fung, in my point of view which is really gd. can try their pork rib or beef noodle, the noodle is gd, springy, the meat is gd, meat is tender, easy on ur teeth. n the pork rib has no rib, sound funny -.-|||.. so itx kinda hazard-free. the service is gd (considering spore standard), with waitress occasionally topping up ur tea, clearing ur plates n so. sometimex i wonder y restaurants charge 10% service charge when nt much service r provided. spore restaurants shld adjust their service standard so as to match up with their charges.

anyway, waraku has membership (costs $40). if u like to frequent there, y nt jus get it? since they will gv u $50 voucher, u wouldnt loss up in all wayx..

every 1st wk of the mth is pay day wk, therefore im owayx happy^^

well, thur asked rachel join me 4 lunch, ths wk meet her very often.. + itx owayx amazing. when i nv go out 4 lunch nobody find me. when i go out 4 lunch then gt ppl find me.. haix, in the end rush back. but luckily after work still can pull her go shopping 4 awhile. went 4 international buffet @ carlton hotel aftertt, ex-coll. treat. tot it wasnt really worth it since i dun eat much + the food wasnt great.. but since itx on otherx. no complaints.. the cheesecake + soup were nice. otherx r normal. they carry some chinese dishes + rice, cakes, dessert, soup, pasta, sushi, sashimi, bread, salad, steak, seafood, choco fountain. quite a limited range, jus wat u will expect frm a hotel.

sat was e start of jpnese lesson. 1st lesson very easy, all learn b4 1.. had dinner @ nydc.. i blog ths to remind myself nv to go nydc again. the food + drink were -.-||| in all ways + xmas season dun go orchard.. CROWDED!!

sun after church go shopping again. ths is wat happenx during the 1st wk of the mth + when following day is a public holiday! bugis is owayx a gd place to shop 4 cheap stuffx if u dun mind the crowd. anyway, main aim was to get anime stuffx + clothings. bought my shana!! n the yummy j.co donut^^

sat went to watch sky crawler, since gt bday voucher. i heard very gd feedback frm otakux bout ths movie. well, im really impressed by the visual/realistic graphicx 4 the planes n so. the detailed texture makes u wonder hw they did it.. the sound effect is great too. different in sound volume due to distance, noise tt shld b present while in the air, all the minor stuffx r taken care of with realism.

e only complain i have is the story plot. itx too deep 4 me to understand. i dun get wat they r trying to show. so itx jus a story bout ths grp of ppl who nv grow old + life to them is jus a cycle? + they dun actually die, they r jus re-created into another person after they "die"? i jus dun get it!

overall, i'll say ths movie is worth a try. nt worth ur wkend movie price but alright 4 wkday price 4 the wonderful sound + visual effects.

letx b awe @ the awesome setting in western country too^^ r all european countries tt peaceful or do u only c such peace in countryside area? i wanna go some peaceful european country soon\^.^/

anyway i had alwayx wanna learn bout fine dining, to me itx an art to master^^ i mean there will b a time in our life when we will b invited to go 4 fine dining, or prob we, ourselves wanna have a try on fine dining. so i had alwayx been thinking tt itx impt to know @ least the basic of fine dining, so u will nt embarrass urself next time.

e arrangement 4 fine dining

e art of fine dining is a long list to learn. first letx start with sitting? guyx do take note, let the galx sit 1st b4 u sit. n if the galx stand up to leave, guyx have to stand up too unless itx a business setting.

nw to napkin, napkin shld b folded 1/3 facing upward toward u. if u r leaving 4 a short phonecall or washroom during the dinner, place ur napkin to ur right on the table (do not place it on ur chair). u do not have to fold it neatly, jus place it there. but if u r leaving bcox u had finished ur dinner, place the napkin to ur left on the table.

nw to hand positioning on the table. only half of ur palm shld b against the table side, resting.

utensils r usually placed such tt u start using the utensils frm the outer most to the inner most. dessert utensils r sometime placed north of ur plate, or inner most of ur utensils by the side, both ways r alright.

when passing food, pass to ur right (clockwise direction). n when asking 4 pepper/ salt, rmb to use "may I" and "please". "may I have the salt, please." n if asked only 4 the salt, pls pass both pepper n salt, nt jus the salt so u dun have to keep looking 4 the other 1 if u nd it ltr.

on a setting whereby u have a big grp eating together n the utensils get too complicated tt ur nt sure which is urx, which r otherx, alwayx rmb u eat to ur left, drink to ur right. any food to ur left is urx n any drink to ur right is urx.

placment of the glasses frm in to out is normal glass, red wine glass then white wine glass at the most outer. differences btw red wine glass n white wine glass is tt red wine glass r rounder n wider.

when drinking soup, move ur spoon frm in to out. place only ard 1/3 of the spoon into ur mouth n sip the soup.

when eating steak n stuffx, therex 2 ways, european n american style. u can (european style) cut a piece at a time n chew it or (american style) cut the steak into small pieces, thereafter put down ur knife, change ur fork to another hand n enjoy ur food. 4 small food like peas, using ur fork, push the peas to ur knife, then eat it.

when u r nt done with ur food, place ur fork/ knife on the plate making a cross.

when ur done with ur food, place ur fork/ knife parallel with eachother with the knife blade facing inward, resting the handles of ur fork/ knife at 5 o'clock.

warm chocolate cake. actually i chose hearty set meal. so it comes with breadstix, pizza, soup, lemon tea + ice cream. but i had alwayx wanted to try hot chocolate cake with ice cream^^ so went 2 order 1.. well, pizza hut 1 is ok.. i find the choco filling too little. i'll have like it more if the choco come oozing out when i cut it^^ taste like four season's brownie..

nightime went BBG, CG bought a cake 4 me~

frm Paisley & Cream @ the central. too creamy, therefore itx really sweet + as a gift, they gave me a CD.. but y every yr gv things frm attributes? 4 yrs liao. shld get other stuffx to surprise me^^ i knew wat was inside even b4 i open it =X

sat went shokudo. actual plan was meet terence + maurice + yishan n her bf. since terence nt coming + my fy grp noe whox maurice + yishan + it wasnt a big grp + i have to sign up jpnese lesson with crystal, so i tot can jus ask them along.

anyway shokudo in raffles city is similar to a normal food court ard. but this food court consists only of jpnese food stall + u dun pay directly to the individual stalls. u order wat u wan, pass them ur shokudo card which they pass u once u entered shokudo, they bill into ur shokudo card n after ur done with ur meal, u bill @ the cashier using ur card.

macha milk? was it? anyway, this taste great. yanlong said gt very strong green tea taste so i tot it will taste yucky. but the green tea taste wasnt tt strong n blended well with milk. therefore it taste great^^. $2.90.

wat do u call this? popper drink? those kinda drink tt has a marble inside n u have to pop it so u can drink it. it is in fact jus a normal soft drink. itx all bout the fun of popping.

omu rice + chicken chop. taste so-so. portion is big but yishanx bf said itx small.. aiya, watever. omu rice is salty, cox itx filled with tomato flavoured rice inside. prob cox itx chicken chop tt i ordered, i find the portion BIG. i love unagi, but i had too much unagi nowadayx tt i might turn unagi if i continue unagi-ing. ths doesnt make sense, but i dun really make sense when my otaku switch is on. $7.90.

ok, the puff is e best among all. the pastry is very crispy n the char siew is juicy^^

ok, ths glutinous rice is considered rather gd. soft with fragrant.

we ordered this cox therex 3 flavours, char siew, prawn n scallop. prawn n scallop were great^^ very fresh n crispy. but char siew was normal. how special can char siew get?

OMG! the prawn is heavenly taste. crispy prawn ttx so fresh u wanna eat more.

ok, usual cheap pork dumpling u cant c prawn n mushroom. they r nowhere to be found. but the pork dumpling here u can c them, n taste them. not "WOW" but better than mox ard.

xiao long bao
juicy xiao long bao. but 4 mine, the soup was gone once i picked it up. so itx rather so-so 4 me.

Steamed BBQ pork buns
some place do sell really gd BBQ pork buns. with juicy pork filling + hot white bun. this wasn't there yet. kinda sad.

mango sago with pamelo
i told yanlong this would had been much better if pamelo wasnt added. mango with sago taste gd, but with pamelo, it adds a bitter taste to it, due to the nature of pamelo. quite a sad case. sometimes, it doesn't mean the more u add the better it will b..

anyway overall, itx still considered gd 4 another visit 4 the baked barbecued pork puff + prawns^^ however, dun ask me hw much all these cost. nt i pay.

prob has to do with wat i ordered, it was jus ok.. anyway ps has some new otaku shop on the top floor. movie merchandise + something like the shop i bought my lucky star nendriod frm in akihabara. those kinda shop tt help ppl sell stuffx. quite cool, can try selling my anime stuffx there.. but will try to sell online 1st. cheaper way^^

itx frm a shop selling jpnese dessert in lot1. he say itx "ministry of food" but i cant rmb. anyway, itx yummy, but red bead gets too sweet if u eat too much + they dun have ice water 4 u.

itx selling @ yishun, the food court near gv, where they sell gd chicken rice. this is bought frm another stall. they said the chicken rice is gd, but i dun find it true, tot this is better + u dun really c this ard in other food court right? unlike common food like chicken rice which can b found anywhere.

yummy grape mochi, the skin is soft, chewy with a hint of grape. red bean pasta inside. itx made frm jpn, therefore taste is really gd^^ as compared to wat we usually buy during cny.

itx a jpnese tibit, butter biscuit.. i heard it is gd so bought 1 to try. $3.90 selling @ yamakawa super @ B1 of central. i love butter biscuit^^ yummy, they r tasty + ths is really gd, since itx soft inside.. saw those puff ice cream frm jpn, therex macha flavour^^ i gonna try it next time~

new season means gt new anime + drama.. so therex alot to watch now. while im @ hm undergoing treatment, i managed 2 watch mox of them.

Celeb to Binbo Taro is casted by aya ueto, ttx y i watch it^^ well, i like all her costumex in the drama. shex a top designer so her clothes r really ^^ + shex nt those rich gal which every1 hate, she jus dunno how the real world is like, until her "driver" starts to teach her more...

will cont with ths drama, cox i will feel ^^ jus with aya clothings + her company. nice design 4 her company logo + interior^^

Ryusei no Kizuna, i tink every1 will watch, cox gt all the big cast. Ninomiya Kazunari, Nishikido Ryo n Toda Erika, all the eye-candies^^

story is still quite light-hearted 4 the 1st eps. LOL. or shld i say very light-hearted. they con $ frm a guy frm e host club. damn LOL, the way they con very LOL. mux watch^^

Bloody Monday tt time i saw it i said itx otaku drama. cox gt hacker + terrorist. anyway e synopsis attracted me. 1st eps is almost 2hr long. bout a terrorist grp destroying 1 town/city in russia in jus 1day n make known tt their next target is tokyo. therefore, police knowing ths, employed a hacker (hu is a son of 1 of the police officers) to help them. so ths guy started to help them + due to his help, his sis n those ard him begun to b endangered by terrorist. meanwhile, the virus is starting to spread slowly..

nice. i love this kinda drama/ anime/ movie.. u c how e hacker hack the system u will go "wat?" + i love story where ppl slowly get killed. like death note, battle royale, all very nice, action-pack. cox this kinda drama usually consist genius hu is behind the game (the 1 trying to kill) n genius hu is solving the game (e 1 to find the killer). n i alwayx get impress with hw the genius works. so this kinda drama to me is MUST WATCH!

Scrap Teacher. finally a twist. instead of 1 teacher changing a class of students, nw become a grp of students changing their useless teachers in sch. ths grp of students enrol themselves in a sch ttx closing down soon. due to tt reason, all the teachers in the sch couldnt bother to do anything. so this grp of students start with their form teacher, telling him hw useless he is to provoke him. so they succeed (sort of) n the teacher starts to fight 4 his students. nt a wow plot, cox therex too many sch story nw tt itx no longer attractive to me, but i'll watch, since itx a gd twist^^

still waiting 4 Innocent Love n Giragira..

personally my fav is bloody monday. as i had said, i love tt genre^^

skip beat is a top shoujo manga bout a gal trying to enter the entertainment world to beat her childhood fren after finding out tt he was making use of her. i didnt read the manga even tot frenx keep recommanding me, cox i dun like the art style. but the anime version looks fine to me. who noex? i might get too attracted to the story n goes off to buy e whole set of manga.
